About Little Flower High School
Little Flower High School, an English medium co-educational school was established in the year 1972 by Late Rev. Fr. Valerian Goudinho, with a view to cater to the educational needs of the children of the industrial laborers residing in the locality. As there were no good English medium schools in Vartak Nagar and Pokhran, the parents were compelled to send their children to far off schools in Thane City. There was a lot do inconvenience then, as the frequency of bus service was very poor. Late Rev. Fr. Valerian Goudinho took up the mission to establish a school.
The school began functioning in a small rented premise – MHADA Building No 47 in Vartak Nagar. Initially the school began with two divisions each of KG., STD I & STD II. There were only few teachers who worked double shift – morning and afternoon.
